We have been in love with Afissos for over 40 years. We love Arriba for more than 10 years but (there is always a but) if we come next year we will not forget to bring a kettle, a bread knife, teaspoons (there was one) cups (there were two) soup bowls (there were 4 plates, all flat), some pasta sauce pot or something. Oh and wine glasses, we don't like drinking out of coffee cups. Aaaah, we'll leave coffee mugs from the last gas station, they'll be good for brushing teeth. If we don't forget it, we'll be there in extreme comfort.

Stylish, spacious, elegant, clean, classical. This is only a short description of Grand Studios. I totally enjoyed my four night stay at this marvellous place, and I really felt sad when I had to depart. The inner garden is beautiful and a great rescue from the scorching sun. The coffee machine is a great asset. Afissos itself is a small yet charming place. The Grand Studios are right on the seashore, so when you look out of the window, you feel like sailing on a ship. Ms. Georgia, the owner, is one of the kindest and most intelligent people I have ever met throughout my extensive travels. She gave me homemade pogatza to eat and cared for me during my stay. Thank you ever so much, I will surely return!

Location is excellent right in the middle between KALA NERA to Kato Gatzea. entire complex is new, has many parking slots (both in and out of the complex).

Owners are in the place most of the day and give good customer service. facility and rooms are very clean. rooms are refreshed every day (set the beds and clear trash), refresh towels every 2 days,

The apartment is very very nice,comfortable and very clean.Everything inside is new,kitchen is fully equiped with everything you need.Bathroom is also very nice and it is big.In front of the apartment you can park your car.The position of the apartment is also very good,it is in a quiet street,and steel only 3 minutes from the beach,and 2 minutes from super market.The most important thing,Mr Yannis is there whole day,always waiting for you with a smile,and ready to help if you need something.Mr Panos is also very good guy,ready to answer on every question that you have,and also ready to help you.I really recommend this apartment to everybody,and if I come back to Kala Nera,I will defenately come here again.Thanx for everything!

Clean, super spacious apartment on a perfect location in the middle of a lovely small town. The view from the terrace is beautiful! The apartment has everything you need and is just as authentic and nice as the photos.
Bakery, great restaurants and supermarket are all very closeby, as is the beach just a few minutes walking (Lagoudi beach was our favorite: quiet and natural bay)
The owners of the apartment are pleasant and kind people. They helped us on the way and with every request. The location of the apartment is excellent, close to the sea, in a quiet and beautiful place. The apartment is very comfortable, well equipped and beautiful. We felt like at home. We look forward to returning to this place
The location is excellent you walk down stairs through the front door and can go straight in the sea. Perfect white steps for all ages. Perfect for an evening dip or early morning or can swim to the main beach. Again very flat and in the middle of the village .
Nice location, well equipped little flat. Bed was comfy, air conditioning was effective, plenty of space for drying clothes and nice and quiet at night.
Friendly, comfortable hotel in a great location in a lovely village. Close to everything but quiet. Slightly dated furniture and fittings but everything worked and the bed was comfortable. Great breakfast for only 5 euros extra. I had the top (fourth) floor room with a sea view and a balcony that was as big as the room itself. The balcony was bigger than some flats I've lived in. Only downside was no lift so might not suit someone who doesn't like stairs.
Afissos is lovely. However, Booking.com misleadingly classify this property as a hotel. It is in fact a self catering studio. So there was no breakfast offered.
Nice size studio apartment, everything clean. Lots provided in the kitchen (not that I used it).
There was a very nice restaurant down the road.
