The lodge was lovely and geared towards nature. The lodge looked onto the owners garden and fields at the back. The red squirrels were adorable it was lovely to sit out on the decking and watch them.

The apartment location is very good, right by the beach.
Only a problem if you have difficulty walking, as Shanklin shops and old town are a 20-minute walk up the cliff. Pubs and cafes are nearby, but not a shop.
The apartment is very spacious and well provisioned and has a small balcony to sit out on to enjoy the view.
Also, it is very close to Shanklin Chine. Pay once, and get 6 more 'free' entries.
With panoramic sea views, Chale Bay Farm is situated among the rolling fields of the south-west Isle of Wight.

Brilliant apartment . 3 adults and it worked well with our oldie in the decent size room beside the bathroom and the other two in the lounge with two singles . The apartment had everything we needed and is up in the main centre above shops away from the beach .

For the travellers who appreciate a space of their own at the end of the day, an apartment or flat is the perfect home away from home. Furnished rooms and kitchen facilities give groups and families the flexibility to enjoy downtime separately, or plan the next day’s activities over a shared meal. Often available for short and long-term.
A great little self contained apartment, with all the required amenities. Marie the host was amazing with her recommendations as well. Fantastic views out from the windows as well.
Great location - albeit a little difficult to find (both the house and the keys) on first arrival (but not a major issue). Great facilities - more than sufficient for the two of us on a short stay.
Nice touch to have the connected TV, plus the bread, butter, milk and jam on arrival.
The apartment was really nice and spacious, it had everything I needed. Loved the location. Marie was lovely and told me about cycle tracks and walks nearby which I explored and thoroughly enjoyed. Hope to visit again and stay longer as there is so much to explore. The complimentary hens eggs were very tasty.
We had a lovely weekend at the apartment and were made to feel very welcome and looked after by the host Marie who was really helpful with local information. The location is lovely and quiet and is only a short walk to a local convenience store, local pub and bus stops connecting to the remainder of the Island.
Would be more than happy to stay there again.
The flat was absolutely lovely, and felt like a home from home. The kitchen very spacious with all facilities. Situated in the middle the village with a shop nearby. Parking nearby very easy.
