We've been travelling UK for 8 weeks, this is best property we have stayed in. Feels like a home, so spacious, comfortable bed, character beams, entry tucked away through arch. Car parked free in square opposite, very visible. A very thoughtful host, toys, baby bath, high chair for those who need them. Wonderful to have washing machine. Thank you.

Location great for the wedding we were attending. Kerry could not have been more helpful allowing us to drop our bags off early and ensuring the keys were available. Great café opposite.

Amazing house , real luxury.
If you can afford it then book it.
The only reason I didn't get a 10 on everything is it's a bit out of our price range but that won't be the owners fault I bet.
Tvs in bedrooms is a must for us working class types ha.

Great location handy for pubs and restaurants , lovely flat , very clean and we would definitely be back again.
For the travellers who appreciate a space of their own at the end of the day, an apartment or flat is the perfect home away from home. Furnished rooms and kitchen facilities give groups and families the flexibility to enjoy downtime separately, or plan the next day’s activities over a shared meal. Often available for short and long-term.
There was a welcome pack of eggs, milk ,coffee ,and beer. 😁
Self Catering.
Log burner was set, ready to light. Plus more fire packs for our stay.
Lovely warm welcome. Our hosts called round to introduce themselves, and we met the whole family, during our stay.
Wonderful friendly people, and exceptionally helpful towards us, giving us a lift into Cockermouth, when our car had to go into garage for repair!
Good location, big garden/park with loft of free parking spaces. Big clean rooms, relaxed atmosphere friendly staff and owners. Nice breakfast. Pet friendly. We had a nice dinner in the restaurant as well.
Everything really! This gorgeous Georgian property is a small country hotel surrounded by the wide flat Cumbrian farmland a short distance west from Carlisle.
The spacious bedroom overlooked the countryside to the Eden estuary and hills beyond.
Dinner and breakfast was phenomenal and substantial. Food is locally sourced and you can tell the difference between this and chain hotel supplies.
The staff and owner were exceptionally welcoming and chatty.
We would return in a shot if in the area.
I'd describe this as Caldbeck's hidden gem and we will be back as soon as we are able. All the facilities you could want, perhaps even more so, given the compact nature of the premises but despite that all the space you need for a short stay such as the one we had.
Very nice ground-floor apartment with its own entrance. Only 5 mins walk from station and close to bus routes. Good sized rooms, with separate bedroom (with comfortable bed), nice modern kitchen and bathroom, all nicely decorated and good quality furniture. All spotlessly clean. Friendly and helpful owner. (Don't go for the view though, windows look out directly onto the street so I pretty much kept the window blinds closed.)
Great location in the centre of Wigton town, close to the Lake District for all the sightseeing. Local shops provided for all the requirements of my holiday.
The apartment was very comfortable and clean and tidy on my arrival. Would stay again.
