We had a bowls tournament which was 10 mins away so perfect location for us. McDonalds, shops and pubs are all within walking distance. You could hear singing in the evening both nights, no bother for me. It is near a train track but again no bother, less trains through the night.
Not sure if it was advertised but we hooked up to the WiFi. Communication was great explaining how to get the keys, private car parking space was great. Was cheaper than a Travelodge so very happy.

For us the location was perfect, as we have family in Danbury; place is clean and light, kitchen fully stacked with all amenities incl. washing machine, ironing board, toaster, microwave etc, Host is very responsive and helpful. There is a shop right downstairs, open everyday - very convenient!

Noel and Lorna, perfect hosts in a self contained apartment with lovely views. Didn't know this part of the world. It is a beautiful village and Oakrights the perfect place to stay. Lovely walks around the village; country pub, tea room, greenery.

The exceptional warm welcome by Lorna and Noel made our start to our stay for 3 nights to a great start. Good facilities was provided in the apartment, from toiletries, expresso machine, microwave, oven and kettle. The subtle touches to make the apartment feel homely was touching. Clean cosy feel of the apartment. The bed was so comfortable and slept very well in peaceful surroundings. A great welcome after a long journey to homemade carrot cake 😀

Lovely studio in the grounds of a lovely country house., with pretty countryside views and the most superb hosts! So peaceful listening to the owls at night, a delightful spot. Spotlessly clean, all the facilities you could wish for, lots of nice touches, like local info, a range of DVDs and a delicious slice of Victoria Sponge awaiting me on the breakfast bar.
Lovely studio style self-catering apartment in a quiet but convenient country location close to Chelmsford - the accommodation is above parking bays, so separate from the main house. The room itself was large, comfortable and well equipped, particularly the kitchen area, although the sleeping and bathroom areas are slightly cramped. Lorna and Noel are excellent hosts, meeting us on arrival and giving us much helpful advice, and the generous piece of chocolate cake was a lovely added bonus! Definitely to be recommended.
