Absolutely beautiful cottage set in a perfect location. A little difficult to find, we had to stop and ask someone after several failed attempts, perhaps the sign could be a bit clearer. Once you arrive though you will forget all that as the cottage is beautiful and very well equipped. A perfect base for exploring the local area or as a scenic stopover en route to the highlands as we did.

tidy, comfortable, small room with 2 seats for sitting on, basic freeview tv.
restaurant and meals nice if you sit in right place but dont sit at bar end of restaurant as 2 inch gap under door letting a gale through and freezing. other end of restaurant us lovely and warm when fire going.

Have never been somewhere so we’ll equipped! I always do self catering and take everything….at this lodge most of what I’d packed got left in the boxes as it had everything! Very comfortable, excellent Wi-Fi for the teenagers and lovely location- just remote enough!
excellent location at the shore of Loch Lomond. spacious lounge with brilliant views. property is very clean with good number of washrooms, well equipped self catering kitchen and good mattresses. most important the staff is very friendly making the stay very enjoyable.
Amazing location for West Highland Way stop. Rooms and shared bathrooms good. Self catering facilities ok. Range of 'emergency' food and drink options behind reception desk (pot noodles, nuts, crisps, sweets etc). Cold beers available too.
