What an absolutely beautiful place with gorgeous cottages.
There was 12 of us staying the night before a wedding and each of the 3 cottages we stayed in were superb.
Clean as a whistle, well stocked, comfortable and in a great location, we will definitely be back here for non-wedding related occasions!

Great communication before arrival with Jo the host who along with her husband Bernie made us so welcome. The accommodation is perfect, clean, spacious and everything we needed for our short break. A lovely welcome hamper was left in our room with delicious bacon, eggs, bread, yogurts, croissants, milk, cereals, tea and coffee. The bed was so comfy so a good night sleep wasn't a problem. Askrigg is a beautiful little village with 3 pubs who all serve lovely food. There is also a small local shop and a cafe/deli. Perfect location for exploring the Yorkshire Dales. We highly recommend the property and the location.

Everything was wonderful. Vicky is the perfect host, friendly and attentive, but never intrusive. Delightful National Trust farmhouse in a beautiful setting looking across the valley to the Gallops above Middleham. Very large oak-paneled 17th century bedroom as per the photos, but with mod cons (smart modern bathroom, TV, wifi). Comfortable bed. Fantastic breakfasts that set us up for walking/mountain biking each day. They also have a very elegant self-catering apartment that we had a quick look at on our departure morning.
Quiet village in the Dales. Hayloft full of character and hosts have attended to small details to make the most of the cottage. Intimate private courtyard below but you can still watch the world go by whilst eating breakfast.
Deceptively spacious, fully equipped cottage, far better-provisioned than the name 'Hayloft' might imply. Large bathroom, comfortable bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen. Suitable for group or family holidays (up to four), couples or solo travelers and also ideal for working people. Parking in private courtyard. Very quiet.
Beautifully presented, warm and comfortable with enough amenities to satisfy self catering visitors. Fabulous views from the property, set in quiet surroundings which are in easy walking distance of the village
Had a very nice short stay. Lovely pub in the centre of this small village. Glorious weather so took advantage of the sun trap of a beer garden.
Small room but it was very clean and comfortable with an excellent shower. Good prices on afternoon snacks and a breakfast to set you up for the day.
