We stayed at this lovely apartment while attending the Eras Tour! It was the perfect place for us. Spacious and beautifully decorated. The owners have great taste. The place was immaculate with all the facilities you could need. Lovely quirky character. I would highly recommend this to anyone staying in the area!! Claire and Mark popped down to say hello and check if everyone was okay shortly after arrival - really lovely touch.

This was an amazing place to stay. We walked in and thought WOW, it was a fantastic way to end our 3month long holiday in Scotland. Also in such a small street to have a carparking space was great. We felt like we were at home but better. We also spoke to the neighbour who told us of the history of the wee cottage. Explains why there is a post box at the fence. Was also nice that it has a small outdoor seating area. Just gorgeous.

We loved everything about our stay in The Teviot apartment in the centre of Melrose. It was comfortable, well-maintained, well-equipped with quality furnishings & fittings and was spotlessly clean. It benefits from both a washing machine and dishwasher. Although right in the middle of Melrose High Street, we found it quiet and of course it was excellently positioned for shopping.

Overlooking Melrose Abby and Priorwood Gardens, Pear Cottage is a self-catering apartment in the historic old town of Melrose. Updated with modern conveniences, it still retains its old world charm. It was clean and spacious. The bedroom was in the back of the unit so it was quiet. The on-site parking was a bonus. Helen Stewart, who manages it for the National Trust of Scotland, was genuine, kind, helpful, and a pleasure to talk to.

Melrose would be very busy at the height of the season but good choice of pubs(choice of real ales) and cafes for eating out, also local grocer, baker, convenience store and well stocked larger Coop store. good bus service to neighbouring towns and villages
