What a hidden little gem!
Hosts Danusha and Dave are very welcoming and offered great local advice and showed us around the lodge.
Apple-tree lodge is very comfy with fantastic decor and all you need for a stay. It is ideally located for easy access to the Quantocks and the town of Taunton and wider Somerset.
Highly recommend….

The location was perfect for us, the property was clean and quite spacious for a one-bedroomed apartment, well-decorated and equipped with everything needed for your stay. A reserved parking space right outside the property was beneficial. There was nothing to fault about our stay. We had a great time.

Excellent town centre location, close to everything you could need - shopping centre, restaurants and pubs.
Apartment was spacious and well layed out with everything we could need for our stay.
The owners were very helpful and quickly responded to anything we asked.
We found it to be an ideal base for a holiday centred in and around Taunton. We visited for the cricket and will absolutely rebook when we next organise a trip.

It was a perfect getaway, different , exciting to be sleeping in a converted army truck ,

Outdoor tub was nice and under cover from the rain. Clean and tidy inside, nice tea and coffee facilities and small fridge. Good shower and bathroom.
lovely historic building in gorgeous countryside, close to Hestercombe Gardens. on site parking was a bonus and very clear communication from the hosts who was very accommodating in letting us check in early so we could get to a wedding at Hestercombe Gardens on time- it was less than a 10 min walk to the venue. thank you for our stay
