Rosie is the most lovely lady. It was a pleasure to meet her. She was very welcoming and very informative regarding local things like pubs, meals, shop opening times etc. She left some milk in the fridge and a cream tea too - which was a lovely surprise and very tasty.
The apartment is very comfortable. It was really clean and the bed was comfortable too. Plenty of towels, shampoo, body wash etc. Tea bags and coffee provided too. The apartment is right in the middle of the middle of the village and you can easily walk to anywhere you might want to.
The location is very quiet and very well placed for walking the SWCP.
Parking was free and easy - in the village car park alongside the apartment. It could not have been nearer.
The village has a good bus service to Barnstaple or Bude.
Rosie could not have been more welcoming and generous, freely available if we needed anything at all or had any questions.
I would highly recommend Rosie and her apartment. Should I visit Hartland again this is where I'd like to stay. It is great value for money too.

The owners had paid so much attention to detail. Spotlessly clean . Comfortable sofa and bed. Spacious bathroom with rain shower and fully equipped kitchen. Lovely personal touches, with homemade muffins. Delicious!

Perfect position short walk to the sea front.
Lovely and clean even better it’s dog friendly with a little garden for them aswell. Will definitely be booking again.

Furnished rooms and kitchen facilities give groups and families the flexibility to enjoy downtime separately, or plan the next day’s activities over a shared meal. Often available for short and long-term.
Breakfast was excellent, although I would say that because we were self catering and I cooked it. This is our 2nd stay at thimble cottage and won't be our last.
A lovely base for exploring the area. The apartment was clean and comfortable and well equipped. Rosie was an excellent host, even coming to collect me from Hartland Quay and returning me there the next day
Very, very friendly staff, good location, restaurant in first floor and great english breakfast. Apartment kitchen was fully equipment, spacious and nice rooms.

I had a lovely stay at Rosie's place. It is in the center of Hartland village. The little studio has all what you need after a long day walking on the coastal path.
It is really comfy.
Cosy compact flat. Well equipped and clean with good close parking located in lovely little village. Great pub the Hart inn close walking distance WIth nice friendly atmosphere and delicious food host very kind and left cream tea in fridge.good communication and gave us some fab tips of places to visit
