What a hidden little gem!
Hosts Danusha and Dave are very welcoming and offered great local advice and showed us around the lodge.
Apple-tree lodge is very comfy with fantastic decor and all you need for a stay. It is ideally located for easy access to the Quantocks and the town of Taunton and wider Somerset.

The location was perfect for us, the property was clean and quite spacious for a one-bedroomed apartment, well-decorated and equipped with everything needed for your stay. A reserved parking space right outside the property was beneficial. There was nothing to fault about our stay. We had a great time.

Excellent town centre location, close to everything you could need - shopping centre, restaurants and pubs.
Apartment was spacious and well layed out with everything we could need for our stay.
The owners were very helpful and quickly responded to anything we asked.
We found it to be an ideal base for a holiday centred in and around Taunton. We visited for the cricket and will absolutely rebook when we next organise a trip.

Lovely towels, very comfortable bed. I had booked a room with bath but unfortunately they had no hot water or heating in that area so we were moved to studio barn. Staff helpful and friendly. Lovely walk around lakes.
Absolutely everything. I was part of the Rhodesian Light Infantry group, and we will return, most definitely. Venue, facilities, food, staff and value were absolutely first-class. The ladies behind the bar worked flat-out.
