Karin and Marcel were fantastic hosts. They shared with us a delicious meal and a very entertaining evening. The apartment was spacious, light and with everything you need. The location is brilliant if you want to do some short (or long) hikes. Definitely more than an 8.0!!! Highly recommended.
We loved the peace and quiet of Obersteinbach. It is such a beautiful location. We were warmly greeted and felt that if we needed anything we could ask. The apartment is beautiful, and so tastefully decorated.
Over the road is Hotel Anton where we had the most delicious dinner. We would love to visit again.
Exceedingly well equipped apartment, spacious, and even more complete than the description would make you think. It has wonderful views from the livingroom and bedroom on a castle ruin and the 'felsen' opposite. Also the host is very welcoming indeed (I'm not sure the bottle of home-pressed apple juice is always there, but it was much appreciated on a warm day!).
And it's great to be able to hike from the village in the surrounding countryside without having to drive somewhere first. Great location!
