This property is just beautiful. The apartment is bright and airy and we loved the balcony which overlooked the chateaux and the pool area. It was lovely and clean with everything you need for a self catering holiday. La Redorte is an unspoilt French village and the area is very quiet so you do need a car but we loved the peace and tranquility. There’s a restaurant on the Canal du Midi - about a 15 minute walk - which was lovely both for the setting and the food. We will definitely return to the property for longer next time.

Fantastic location within driving distance to all the famous Cathar sites. Apartments are simple and clean, lovely to stay in and fantastic for the money. Be sure to arrive at the time of check in because they close the gate for the evenings and you don't want to make the poor staff wait for you! They were very very sweet and accommodating when I had to cut my stay short to attend to a family emergency. I had extended my stay not once but twice because of how impressed I was by the facilities and had intended to stay nearly a month in all. There is a small grocery/mini Mart and gas station a minute from the hotel which has everything you need to cook at home. The hotel has walking trails and a gorgeous swimming pool. I will definitely without a doubt be staying here if I have the chance to return to Languedoc.
