Set right in the outskirts of Fleurie, the stylish and recently refurbish farmhouse makes the perfect frame for a comfortable and fun stay in Beaujolais. Michel, the owner, has gone out of his way providing facilities I’ve never seen in any vacation apartment elsewhere. There is bbq, outdoor seating, a spa room with large jacuzzi and beautiful wooden sauna incl shower. There is a fitness/games room; The ground floor has a great Star Wars themed pin ball machine and a table foot ball. Go up the stairs and you’ll find a treadmill and rowing machine and more.
The apartment is a duplex that can accommodate to large beds on each level. The open plan kitchen features a dishwasher, a topped up espresso machine, induction hob and oven.
There is WiFi and tv.
I rented the smaller apartment, there is also a larger init which was not rented. Michel tells me that only one of the apartments can be occupied at any time giving guest full privacy to enjoy the amazing facilities. Combining the two apartment and you have ample space for a large family.
Michel makes his own delicious Fleurie wine and is happy to arrange a tasting in his next door property.
A much better offering to hotels and I would definitely stay here again when visiting the small but beautiful wine region of Beaujolais.

En pleine campagne, but just like 10 minutes from the motorway, perfect location on our way to the South, beautiful surroundings which we unfortunately had no time to discover. Nice garden to relax a bit. House/flat is unbelievably clean, perfectly equipped, all super. Just note that one of the 2 bedrooms can only be accessed by passing through the other. Hosts are extremely lovely people and the breakfast is also recommended, half a baguette+viennoiserie+juice, coffee/tea, plus selection on homemade jams, chocolate etc.

The place is very confortable and clean. Recently renovated and decorated with care. Very easy to access and to communicate with the host.
There is a cute little cafe/ wine bar downstairs. It was closed but looks very inviting. Especially a great place in summer. It was closed on a cold wintery Thursday night. I will definitely recommend to stay La Maison du village. It was super cosy and calm.

Beautifully presented, lots of extras eg food stuffs, games, wine fridge and Pierre was friendly and helpful. Set in an idyllic location.
