I’m new to the renting a furnished apartment for a few days. There have been good experiences and not so good experiences. This one was one of the best ones. It’s a lovely apartment, wonderfully situated, and the hostess has taken great pains to make it a smooth and relaxing experience. It’s richly and comfortably decorated (although this makes you feel slightly awkward rummaging in cabinets to find things). She left detailed instructions on how to get the keys and find the apartment. (Despite that, I still got lost next door, to be honest…) She left snacks and charcuterie for me meaning that I didn’t really have many things I needed to buy from the store! She even left a comprehensive information packet (in English and French) about all the activities and eateries which are in the area. Unfortunately, I technically came there for research; so I didn’t have much time to enjoy the surroundings. But if I had, I know where I would’ve looked for suggestions. Finally, to top everything off, I was there the weekend of the Olympic torch relay, and the apartment was literally 5 minutes away from the trade off location!

Location is perfect for exploring the old town. The design of the apartment is very beautiful. The apartment is spacious and located on the first floor. The restaurants are nearby. There was free parking on the street and the host also offered a parking place for 25€. There was small beautiful balcony to spend nice time in the evening. It was clean and absolutely loved the jacuzzi bath. Bed was also really comfortable. The hosts left champagne in the fridge for us which was a lovely touch.
