We chose this guesthouse because there wasn't anything available in Nerja but what we didn't expect was that we would end up wanting to spend more time in our accommodation than on the beach! The location is beautiful and very peaceful- surrounded by lovely hills and amazing views. The bedrooms are spacious and beautifully decorated, with toys for the kids and boardgames for everyone. The bathrooms were spacious too and extremely clean with enough towels to tide you over for a month. The well stocked kitchen and living room are shared living spaces, but because we went with another family staying in another room, we had the place to ourselves. There is a large pool with salt water for guests to cool off in, outdoor tables on the decks and the cherry on top was a hammock and swing chair! Our hosts Patrick and Marlene were extremely kind and helpful. If you are looking to "get away from it all" then I highly recommend this place!

This was our 3rd visit, the last one March 2020. Booked rooms previously but opted for an apartment this time. Very pleased, very spacious and well equipped. Kitchen for self-catering.Great balcony and everything you could need. Room was serviced every 2 days.

Low season was the perfect opportunity to enjoy romantic country getaway. Maybe we couldn’t use every possibility, because of the language barrier, but one garden and pool was more than enough. Use google translate and it is a place with filmlike atmosphere.

Perfect spot! Close to everything a chap might need!
For the travellers who appreciate a space of their own at the end of the day, an apartment or flat is the perfect home away from home. Furnished rooms and kitchen facilities give groups and families the flexibility to enjoy downtime separately, or plan the next day’s activities over a shared meal. Often available for short and long-term.
The location was perfect, central but quiet. The roof terrace is large and although shared with other apartments was quiet for us and a perfect place to have coffee or a glass of wine overlooking a spectacular view of sea and mountains. It was also a great place to dry our washing! The apartment was exceptionally clean, light and bright, beautifully furnished with everything we needed including an espresso coffee machine! The hosts were so helpful and we really recommend this as a great place to stay.
This is a fabulous place to spend some time, in this lovely , pretty Andalucian village...
It is spotlessly clean, really attractively done out, and I slept wonderfully, in the very comfortable bed. There was everything you might need, for self catering, and an 'honesty ' system for bottles of wine, which would be lovely, although you are close to the main village square, with bars.
I highly recommend staying here, there is a gorgeous restaurant very close by, called 'The Secret Garden' which is well worth a visit.
The apartment is really cosy and one has everything to hand. We only spent one night but could easily have fitted in a whole week, we were so well looked after by our hosts. To start with, we were terribly late on our arrival but these two wonderful people were completely unperturbed and very supportive and comprehending. The apartment is very well placed, situated in the centre of the village near the Town Hall. There are plenty of bars, restaurants and shops nearby.
We look forward to going back some day soon.
Lovely house set up in the hills of Canillas, a beautiful white washed spanish village....the house was cosy and had everything that you need to keep you happy for a short stay.
Would definitely book again.
Probably the best gesthouse we had during our hole trip in Andalucia! The town is fabulous, the flat is clean and cosy with a superbe terrace and the owners are very kind. Strongly recommend
