Great location, an easy walk to the promenade and beach. Short walk to Carrefour Express, bakery, fish shop and bars/restaurants.
We loved the outdoor terrace/patio which had sunshine on it all day (when it was shining that is!) It was very spacious with a large table and chairs and very private.
It was good to have two bathrooms one with bath & shower, the other with a shower.
The kitchen was well equipped with a dishwasher and washing machine and plenty of pots & pans.
We went in May and thought it good value for money.
Good communication with the owner who allowed us to arrive earlier in the day.

Excellent location in the old town. Relatively calm as streets are without traffic.
Bermeo and the main sights and activities (Ermitage, Mundaka etc) can be easily reach by train or bus from Bilbao. That means no car is needed unless you are staying for longer and plan extensive exploration of the hinterland.
