Markus, the host, met us and showed us into the apartment. He had told us his English was very poor but it was excellent and he could explain everything to us. The apartment was lovely and very tastefully decorated. It had all we needed. Markus told us where we could find an evening meal and this was only about 10 minutes walk away. As we had been cycling all day we did not want to go far. Lidl was a 5 minute walk away to buy food for breakfast time. Coffee and tea facilities were provided. Very good value for money.

The apartment on first floor has plenty of room, is very clean, bathroom and kitchen has all you need, beds are nice, supermarkets within 5 - 10 minutes walk and also a few pizzaria/cafe places. Can recommend Tonis pizza express. The owners live on ground floor and we were showed around when we arrived. There was also a little welcomming present. There is a small fenced area in the garden where our dog could go. The area is very beatiful and we had some great walks at Lippoldshöhle, Hilskammweg in Ith and Holzweg durchs Hochmoor.
