Everything exceeded our expectations. The below-ground apartment was particularly welcome during the hot summer days. It really is not fair to characterize it as a 'basement' apartment (in a North American understanding of that word) as it was well-lit, completely dry and had wonderful airflow and temperature. It was immaculately finished with top-end appliances and everything we needed for a three-day exploration of the five-lakes area. The outside table and chairs for eating or just sitting was a delightful surprise.

The studio is very clean and well thought, with comfortable beds and everything one needs and more. Annika & Nicolai filled it with very nice little gestures, like organic coffee, boardgames, kitchen basics (and even cereal, pasta & pesto), nice details in the bathroom as well. Within 2 mins, you're at the lake. The terrace is furnished and spacious, perfect for meals outside and for the kids to play in the green. The hosts were very quick to respond to any message and they sent us all the instructions digitally before the trip, which made everything easy.
