Beautiful, well-kept, quiet apartment in Waltenhofen. Very clean and organized. 2 chairs, a table and an umbrella on the balcony. Lovely mountain views. You cannot see the castle from the balcony but you will see it whenever you are out. 15 minute walk or 5 minute bike to a large grocery store and several restaurants, beer gardens, and a brewery that serves great food. Petrol station is beside the grocery store. Comfortable beds. Very quiet at night. Wifi works well. Lots of comfortable seating in living room and dining room. Well equipped kitchen. Kettle, toaster, coffee machine. You are required to wash and put away dishes before leaving but there is a DISHWASHER so it's no bother. Salt, pepper, and sugar available. No towels with no option for them, you must bring your own. About 1 hour 15 minutes on foot to Neuschwanstein Castle - not including climbing mountain to Castle or 25 minutes by bike. A bus loops around and depending on time of day takes 20-50 minutes to get to castle. Add about 30 minutes to each estimation to get to Füssen. Bus stops running around 6pm and starts around 9am. The train station in Füssen had a GREAT ebike rental location. Very easy to take the bus to the apartment from the train station. Bus stop closest is King Ludwig Hotel - about a block away in Canadian speak. Only a few minute walk. They provide an underground parking spot - we kept our rental bikes down there. Park on the lake a very close walk from

The hotel staff were extremely friendly and gave us loads of advice and information about the area. I didn't realise there is spa treatments and bike rentals here. The room had a balcony with chairs overlooking the mountains. One of our rooms had a direct view of neushweinstein. The breakfast had lots of great options. The bathroom was especially nice and seem newly renovated. I would have liked to stay longer as the area was beautiful.

Excellent location, walking distance to a bakery, supermarket, pharmacy, and the tourist information. Very well equipped kitchen meant we could cater for ourselves nicely, the car park was just behind the apartment and all the local sights just minutes away. The host was very helpful and friendly, we couldn't have wished for more.

The flat was very clean and we found all what we needed. It’s very cosy and for that price u will have everything what you need. All the kitchen utensils are available. There is parking for free in front of the apartment. Also you will find a nice terrace.

The apartment is conveniently located close to Neuschwanstein castle, it's 5 minutes drive to one of the parking lots, from which you can walk towards the castle. You can easily get into the apartment, the keys can be retrieved from the box nearby the building entry door regardless of the arrival hour. The apartment is a good choice for a short stay, however it lacks some furnishings to suit longer stays. For example there are no chairs and there is only a very small table.

Amazing flat, 4 of us had a good time😃😃😃 I found this place amazing especially the garage; actually the whole apartment was top quality. Free wife, TV in every room and fully equipped kitchen what else you can ask for. The garage was big enough to accommodate my estate with a roof box and 3 bikes on the back but the neighbour next door parked his van with the bikes. The view was amazing probably one of the best in the neighborhood. The host was very nice and helpful.

Sonja was extremely hospitable and gave us all sorts of advice on where to go. The apartment was really large and comfortable, with views over Neuschwannstein. The area is beautiful and the flat is well equipped, with a garden too, if time to sit there. We would thoroughly recommend this place to any visitors to the area. Very convenient for visiting the castles too.

Ingrid was charming. We have stayed in lots of self catering flats on our travels and Alpenrose has to be one of the best, everything immaculate, well thought out and comfortable. It's in a great location for Bavarian history with access to cable cars to the mountain tops. Lots of walking, cycling, cross country skiing from the door. The town has lots of restaurants too. It's also good value for money.

Lovely attic apartment. Although there is a busy street nearby, the bedroom was very quiet. The mountain view from the balcony was breathtaking. The kitchen had everything I needed. The flat also had lovely paintings to add color and home environment. Wifi reception was great! 14 Minute walk to the Königliche Kristalltherma. I would definitely come back here!
