If you want to visit the Tatacoa desert this is the place to stay. You are right in the middle of beautiful scenery (many sights are in walking distance, but the owner offers transport, tours or bike rentals) and hosted by a lovely family. The food they cook is so so good. Every bad has a mosquito net and ventilation for the night.
The staff were all very friendly and made sure I had a great experience from booking a Tatacoa tour to generally making me feel welcome. Andres was particularly helpful, letting me check in early and keep my room a little later when I checked out. The location for the Tatacoa Desert is perfect and I was surprised how good the food was (particularly the grilled chicken and limonada, the chef was very friendly too). The value for money is incredible.

Breakfast was quite good, fruits + hot beverage + juice + eggs + bread... they were very attentive and went out of their way to improve the experience, i.e. giving extra hot water for my sweet hot chocolate. Or letting us leave the car for a bit inside their parking lot after the checkout. They are also honest about conditions at the desert if it's raining, length of the trips and recommendations with guides.
