Although the room is small, it has what is needed the most - a comfortable bed. The hosts were very friendly and helpful with dinner suggestions. We ate our take-out meal next to their little pond which was very pleasant.

Nice apartment, informative and helpful host

Location was perfect for exploring the historic part of Bern. It is situated down at river's edge so there is a bit of a climb up to the main part of the Old Town. Breakfast supplied was perfect, with a couple of cereal choices, cheese, fruit, hard boiled egg, buns, juice and coffee. There is a beautiful view of the river and opposite bank where folks gather to visit, have lunch, or sit with their feet in the river. Katja provided a folder with information about apartment functions, parking location, things to do, a good restaurant recommendation, with a menu and much more.

Central location and an excellent flat! Coming originally from Bern, I booked this place for a weekend trip back home. Highly recommended.

The hotel was so comfy that it felt like home away from home! The location cannot get any better and is right at the bridge of the Aare river, offering stunning views. Everything you need is at your door step- restaurants for delicious local food, leafy forests for hiking, and beautiful old city centre for shopping/ tourism. The living space itself is beautiful- historic with a modern twist. There is an entrance hall, living room with a comfy sofa, 2 lovely bathrooms with large beautiful modern showers, a comfortable kitchen with a fridge and a coffee machine (which makes delicious coffee 24/7), a bedroom with a closet, a small adjusted tv room, and a beautiful spiral staircase. As per other reviewers, there were a lot of tourists around the hotel during the busy hours of the day, but it did not disturb us. The rooms in the first floor, including the bedroom, are well- hidden from the view. The rooms in the ground floor area (kitchen & living room) have transparent window curtains, which do a perfect job of preserving your privacy, while allowing light inside. The noise levels were minimal on the ground floor and almost non-existent on the 1st floor, where the bedroom is. Towels in the bathrooms were large and soft, and you also get slippers and bathrobes. The place is very clean and tidy with daily housekeeping visits. There also were loads of windows, which was great for airing. Breakfast was good, and was delivered contactless to your door in cute boxes and bottles. It included traditional Swiss selection of regular cold meats, cheeses, breads, fresh milk and yogurts, croissants, granola/ cornflakes, juices, and at times also fresh fruit platters with strawberries etc. Throughout the stay, we felt very welcome and well taken care of- the hotel staff went above and beyond. A special thanks to Sara, and to the rest of the team who have made this stay unforgettable! P.S. Watching bears was also a bonus!

Clean, good size, transport nearby, parking.

Spacious and comfortable. It was a pleasure to stay here. The second bedroom is perfect for children. The location could not be better. Loved it!

The design of the unit and spaces of the room for Family suites is excellent. The common area equipped with pool table and coffee maker machine is nice.

The property was well equipped with everything and it was value for money.

A bit industrial area, but close to centre by free transport.
