A microwave, a fridge and stovetop are also available, as well as a kettle. At the aparthotel, every unit is equipped with bed linen and towels. This was a great place to stay. Located close enough to the areas we wished to see and close to restaurants and only 20 min walk to bar district. Stayed with extended family and each had different rooms. The larger rooms were big enough to hold a family gathering in. Would definitely stay here again.

It is a small private semi self catering hotel which was good for our visit to Kyoto. The room was comfortable. Location is about 10 minutes from Kyoto Railway station which is fine if you are fit. There are no meal options. There are washing machines available and good air conditioning.
Serviced apartment with great facilities. We had the option to either eat out or bring food back to eat. Beds were comfortable and it was very roomy.

Auberge is accomodation for sophisticated travellers that appreciate quality amenities and services. Far superior to normal hotel accomodation. It is more akin to a serviced apartment because the spaces are generous. All staff including the owners were exceptionally polite and welcoming and friendly. English is spoken, and French by the owners who are also long-time Parisian restaurateurs. This place is set in a 100 year old house with an uprade to modern standards. A Japandi style Ryokan. Highly recommended.
The house is in a quiet location of beautiful family houses, up on a hill. The forest is right behind, a beautiful path starts there. The room was pretty, traditional Japanese, there was a whole shared kitchen and good bathroom with two showers. Toilets are on both floors. It felt quite home-like. We could borrow an umbrella. The owner was very kind and helped us plan our program in Kyoto, and she also let us ship our luggage to the house.
Nice comfortable aparthotel. About 5 minutes from Kyoto subway station. Clean room. Good shower. Beds were comfortable. Lighting was good. Blackout curtains. Lots of charging points. Washer and drying room. Detergent provided. Safe, fridge. Room could accommodate up to 4 people. Highly recommended for families and those who like more space to relax.
