It now offers Tuscan style apartments, each with a private entrance, living room and fully equipped cooking facilities. This was the best place I've stayed in so far. Podere Vigliano is like heaven on Earth. Nice location, fantastic scenery, wonderful nature around, very well maintained yard with wonderful rest aria and very nice pool. The location of the villa is very good in the hearth of Tuscany. The villa is equiped with everything need for a comfort stay, the rooms are specious, but very cosy, all the athmosphere is gorgeous. The host, Nicolo, is a real treausure - very polite and responsive and yet not intrusive at all. I higly recommend this place and will visit it once again at first chance!

Private parking is available on site at this recently renovated property. The aparthotel has family rooms and facilities for disabled guests. Villa Mucellena is a must if you want to visit Tuscany. We stayed there for three nights on our road trip through Italy and we were so amazed by the experience that we came back at the end of our trip to spend there our last three nights. Viola is the best host you can imagine. She is friendly, responsive and always happy to give us some good local recommendations. If you go there, definitely do not miss out on booking a dinner, if she makes one. Even better than most of the restaurants we visited. She also offers a cooking class where we learned how we could take a small piece of Tuscany with us back home. Truly a great experience we will surely make again next year!

Whether it was recommending the best local restaurants, suggesting tours, or simply offering a friendly chat, they made us feel like cherished guests.

Truffle hunting and pasta cooking lesson were fantastic (both activities are extra charge, and not cheap, but worth every cent! The estate is beautiful. Kids loved the fact that there were pets at the property.
