From the moment we arrived we were welcomed by the extremely nice host and staff. They helped us to assist with any request we had an made us feel like a valued guest, adding an extra layer of comfort to our stay. Big plus the breakfast every morning which is homemade! Next to the port and super close to Chora. Free pick up and drop off from the airport. We will definitely come back !!

Overlooking the bay of Maltezana, the charming Castellano Village features a kidney-shaped pool with stunning views of the Aegean Sea. The beaches of Ble Limanaki and Plakes are within walking distance. Castellano Village is a magic place with a wonderful view over the bay. The owners are very kind and competent people who work with passion. We spent beautiful days in our apartment. Perfect cleaning and delicious breakfast! The aparthotel with a terrace and sea views has 1 bedroom, a living room, a flat-screen TV, an equipped kitchen with an oven and a fridge, and 1 bathroom with a shower. A private entrance leads guests into the aparthotel, where they can enjoy some fruits. The aparthotel offers bed linen, towels and laundry service. The studio is located half way between the port and the old town. We are very thankful to the owners as they coverd our taxi ride on arrival day. Infact from the port it is a steep road with several steps. On departure day it is an easy downhill walk to the port even with suitcases (max. 10min walk). The kitchen is very well equipped (including washing machine), toiletries are provided and there's even a first aid kit with disinfectant and patches (very useful!). The studio is new and its decorations are very accurate. The bed is on a separate mezzanine just above the kitchen (six steps) but very well designed so to create a very nice and cosy area detached from the rest of the studio. A safe is also provided. Breakfast is delivered daily and it includes bread, muffins (sweet and savoury), butter, honey/jam, juice. Maria was very accommodating with my breakfast needs and adjusted it according to my request. Thank you Maria! The old town is 10min uphill walking distance and you can find two grocery stores just before the windmills area. Restaurants and cafés very handy. We enjoyed our dinner at Salis (again we thank Maria for the suggestions) but you need to book as they don't have many tables. We also enjoyed the nice views over the city from our terrace with beautiful sunrises. Finally we appreciated the late check out possibility on departure day.

The location is ideal for visiting the Chora and also Livadia which has one of the best beaches with tavernas and cafes. In fact there are 2 excellent fish tavernas in this location. The rooms were pristine and Irene the owner is very welcoming and helpful on all matters concerning Astypalia. The service was exemplary and the rooms very clean. Everyday, fresh seasonal fruit was provided, together with water and other provisions. The kitchen pantry is properly stocked with provisions for breakfast . The suites face the sea and are in a tranquil setting….no disturbance from party revellers or late arrivals. It is perfect for a relaxing few days. The suites are recently built and furnished to a high standard .

The space is comfortable and very nice for two. The communication was easy with host and a transfer from the airport was much appreciated and helpful. The father of the house was very easy to be in touch with and held ir luggage because our ferry was not until later in the day. Bed very comfortable, pillows a bit hard. Highly recommend Galaxy!

Poseidon Studios is great in many senses: first of all the owners are very kind and helpful, assisting also with logistical issues (finding a scooter, a ride to the airport etc.). The place is quiet, with a wonderful view on the bay. Rooms are spacious and cleaned regularly. Highly recommended!
