We stayed in Apt. 2, which had a nice well kept garden with a comfortable sitting place which we could enjoy during the whole day. The owner was very helpful and kind and welcomed us upon our arrival. There is a parking place just in front of the building ( charge of Euro. 8.-- for each day) and a big supermarket 5-7 minutes walk. There is a washing machine and a dryer in the basement for free use any time of day and night. Singen is well situated for travelling to Switzerland and in Germany, i.e. Konstanz, and other very nice places around.

Apart Hotel Stadtgarten is set in Überlingen, 12 km from Konstanz. The hotel has a sauna, a heated indoor pool and a fitness centre, and guests can enjoy a meal at the restaurant. Private parking is available on site. Location was wonderful with views of the lake, Room was spacious. Breakfast was wonderful. Host was charming. I could not have found a lovelier place to stay in this budget range. Mere steps from park and lake and just a short walk to the city center.

Apartments at the Boardinghouse HOME all come with a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. Some apartments feature black leather sofas, a wooden wardrobe or a spiral staircase. Spacious, clean, just a perfect holiday stay. The breakfast was really nice with many options. Also the kitchenette in the room was good for a stay in dinner or fixing lunch to take away. Staff was very gracious, and provided GF bread and cereal for breakfast each day The Bodensee Card was a nice benefit because it included local bus transportation.
