Great facilities with lots to do, with outside and indoor pools. The buffet food at breakfast and dinner was of good quality and varied. Plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables. The Italian restaurant was also very good. Staff at the hotel were very helpful and friendly, happy to help. For example, a waiter noticed our table was slightly wobbly and took the initiative to fix it. The studio room was large and comfortable and the room and entire hotel were very clean. We had a very relaxing stay and would absolutely choose to stay here again in the future.

Our experience was quite strongly affected by the fact that we got a little upgrade for our stay, because we asked about using their washing machine and because we think that the more luxury apartments weren't so busy. As a result we also got to park in their car park and use the rooftop terrace with a little pool. Thanks!
The flats are located quite close to the oceanfront, and close to the old town. The central town is about 15 minutes walk away, so also close. And because all those are sort of level with the flat, you never needed to go much up or downhill, which was great.
The flat had all the basics you need, the kitchen had the basic cookware, there was also salt, towels, sponge and washing up liquid. There was a clothes drying rack and an ironing board.
There was a cleaning service part way through the stay, which was nice.
Conveniently situated in the centre of Funchal, Pestana Casino Studios offers sea views and an outdoor swimming pool. This 4-star aparthotel offers a lift and a housekeeping service.

Loved the style of the room, it was nicely decorated and was very comfortable. The swimming pool was lovely, and having access to more pools in the bigger Pestana hotel was great! Staff were very friendly and helpful. Great location in walking distance to central Funchal, restaurants and bars. Quiet at night though which was lovely.
Quinta Santo Antonio Da Serra is situated in the Madeira countryside, only 18 km from Funchal. All of the self contained apartments have a real wood fireplace and a balcony.

Everything. Very warm atmosphere, met by a very friendly Claudia, cottage was sweet, clean set in glorious gardens, in a super location opposite a lovely park. Had all the facilities we needed to make a meal in the well supplied kitchen.

The location was amazing, the room was comfortable and the staff were pleasant to deal with. It had an excellent view of the busy, interesting square below. We enjoyed our stay.
Ideal for travellers who want their own space and don’t need frills. Aparthotels/serviced apartments have some hotel facilities like a reception desk but are self-catered with a place to cook (e.g. a kitchenette). This suite-style accommodation usually has more than 10 units per property.
Self catering. Location mainly residential so very quiet with a couple of restaurants within easy walking distance.

Best quality self catering accom we've ever booked. Exceptional sea view from spacious balcony. Kitchen kit top notch, shops, restaurants 10min walk. Get used to slopes, sea swims excellent down the steep hill, but by the end of the week I ran up in 2:15. We would gladly return.
Location excellent, 15mins from airport, Funchal similar. Bus 3 min walk, car hire Tamariz 10 mins, taxis. Lots of choices.
