This is the second time I've stayed at Starling Villa's.. In 2019 i was blown away by the Homestay and it's staff. I knew I'd return to Bali as it's a base for my Diving adventures.. This is my 4th trip to the island staying in different hotels and Homestays from the posh hotels to the not so posh homestays.. So it's a balanced review of Sanur's accommodation, off which i adore the area... The pictures on website/ booking.com say it all. A lot of care went into the original design,and now it's matured it's a joy to stay at... Quite low key area but very central,everything's at your fingertips.. The hosts have turned into friends Muri & Simon will look after you they take as a personal responsibility that your stay will be the best it can.. Take advantage of them or don't they are certainly not in your face. But there if like me your a solo nomad and just want a chat and a warm smile.. I'll be back in Bali next year i still have plenty to do in the regions islands and book Starling for a month to use as a safe base for all i bring. This time i introduced some if my uk friends to Bali and they loved starling villa's and did as i do using it for a base and went island hopping... I could say a lot more but i think you should gind out for yourself.... p🙏
