An unexpected surprise. A brand-new hotel opened in August 2022. We booked for middle August, and we found everything we could asked for during our vacation. The place is marvelous, big swimming pool (almost 20 meters long), within 3-4 minutes walking distance from the sandy beach. Parking on spot available. The rooms are spacious and fully equipped (even the kitchen that we didn’t get to use) and with an unmatched tranquility essence. Bright white color everywhere to combine the view of the sea. They serve in room breakfast with large variety and every PERSONAL tray is enough to make you full for the whole day! During the day you can order snacks and beverages to indulge yourself inside your room or by the pool or even in the marvelous pergola they have (their cooking is amazing,). Almost every night we found ourselves in the Pergola with a dish of ham , cheese and fruits enjoying a bottle of local wine. Everything is clean and tidy and the owners are absolutely wonderful trying to be ahead of every request. Fira is within 12 minutes driving distance from the hotel plus a lot of sandy beaches are easily reachable by car or bike. Away from the noise of Fira and Oia yet close enough to be able to visit anytime you wish. The selected beds and pillows offer an amazing sleeping quality and we practically felt “recharged” every morning waking up. You cannot recommend the place enough, we will most certainly visit again!!

Romania
There are no words to express our gratitude for staying here. The accomodation consist in 7 apartaments and 5 rooms, with a very big beautiful and clean pool, all in traditional greek style, on the shore of Kamari beach, managed by Anna and Elias - the most kind hosts that we ever met (and we've travelled a lot). The hotel may not seem much at the first glance, if you are looking for top luxury, but it's authentic greek style all around, and the prices are fair. The owner waits for you at the airport when arriving, takes you everywhere - Kamari town, Fira, comes again to take you back when you're finished, takes you back to airport (I saw him doing that for guests even in the middle of the night), working literally from dawn till long in the night. Taken us to buy pita gyros for example, when we wanted to order. And all this for free, always very modest and kind, speaking very little English but always trying to help us. He didn't even accept to take the change, at the end when we paid the tourist fee (0.5 E/ person), and on top of these he gave us a souvenir magnet. Tourism like they do, you don't get to see very often elsewhere, if any. About the position of the hotel, before coming, we were worried about staying on this side of the island - opposite to the side of caldera. But after exploring the island, we realised that staying on this side (especially Kamari area with a nice shoreline), is by far a better choice than staying at Fira/Oia, where is mega crowded, is very hot, people always hustle and bustle on the narrow streets, thus walking becoming difficult, shops and restaurants that rip you off. You can still get to enjoy Fira/Oia everyday (we went there everynight), but without the disadvantages. The hotel is 5 min by car to Kamari center (or 20 - 25 min by foot), to Fira is 15 min by car, from Fira you can take bus to everywhere, including Oia (which is 20 min by bus).

Whether you're visiting for business or leisure, I highly recommend this establishment for its excellent amenities and prime location. 100% yes by me and of course it's recommended to all travellers!

Our Merope small apartment was gorgeous inside and out. We had a direct view to the sea and it was breathtaking. Stamatina and staff were so accommodating with everything. The breakfast was just divine and local.

Switzerland
Our suite was well equipped, immaculately clean with natural light and an efficient AC on the ground floor. We enjoyed every second spent onsite and especially our private swimming pool and terrace. Jack and the staff were extremely friendly and made us feel at home from the second we walked on the premises. Upon arrival, you are presented with a map of Santorini (Thira) and detailed explanations on the best places to visit, where to eat, and methods of getting around the Island if you do not rent a vehicle that we decided against at the last minute. An intelligent choice as Jack & Artemis (Santos Navigator Transfer & Tour Services) arranged our sightseeing tours and meals at authentic Greek restaurants. The Karat Suites offers you the majority of the items on the breakfast menu for free, and for an extra minimal charge, Daisy will also prepare you the paid items. Most people, however, will be more than satisfied with the included free daily breakfast menu items.
