For someone like me who needs a place to stay that is nearby I couldn’t ask for better really, this place was a stone’s throw away from my workplace. I also like that it’s self-catering with on-site facilities (kitchen, laundry room - I didn’t use these but would if I was staying for longer). Decent shower, good space in the room and overall a good sleep. I also had to last-minute extend my stay due to train strikes and the owner was very responsive and accommodating.

A lovely cottage which had bonus of being centre to both, Windermere and Bo’ness and Windermere It had Wi-Fi and sky Tv which was a bonus. It had everything for self catering and had milk, coffee and sugar as a welcome pack .with a piece of cake added in. The surrounding gardens were lovely. And had a wee. seating area that you could enjoy The communication before and after our stay, was great. We met Andrew, who was telling us the story of the Nook. Overall a exceptional place to stay😀

Location close to the town and within walking distance of the lake was great. Very quiet too. As we were self catering, it was handy having a couple of supermarkets so nearby.
