Ideal for travellers who want their own space and don’t need frills. Aparthotels/serviced apartments have some hotel facilities like a reception desk but are self-catered with a place to cook (e.g. a kitchenette). This suite-style accommodation usually has more than 10 units per property.
Lovely stay close to the slopes. The apartment was warm and cosy with a nice view of the lifts and slopes. Everything was there for self-catering. We found the pool a bit cold to swim in, but nice that there was also a sauna and hammam.
Monetier-les-Bains is a lovely village, to be reached in a 10-minuten walk, nice restaurants and 2 supermarkets can be found in the village. Furthermore, a lovely ski resort, we had a great stay!
Residence le Cairn was self catering and perfectly well equipped for our week's stay and was spotless. Beds were comfortable, loads of hot water and well heated. There are a variety of restaurants in the village so even if you don't feel like cooking there is always the option to eat out.
