Overlooking the Waimea Inlet, The Grand Arden Monaco Nelson is an English-style resort featuring 23 rooms as well as ample free parking and free WiFi. Good location, but not in Nelson (the location is actually Stoke). The restaurant next door at the Honest Lawyer was great, and our dinner at the Brick Eatery was terrific.

Centrally located between Nelson and Richmond, Greens Motel offers self-contained studios and apartments with kitchenette facilities and a patio or balcony. We only stayed one night at the Greens Motel as we departed early the next day from the airport. It is extremely convenient to the airport and was clean and tidy and did the trick for the one night. All good. Would definitely stay again in the same situation.

Reeves Retreat-Handy in Tasman is a recently renovated guest house in Nelson where guests can make the most of the garden and barbecue facilities. Property was very nice and clean. The hosts were also very friendly. Would definitely recommend to others!

Easy walk to beach, parks, cycle ways ,bike track, cafes. Lovely fresh, clean and well appointed studio unit. Very sunny. Quiet. Kitchen area just perfect. Lovely spacious bathroom.
