The waterfront Thon Hotel Kristiansund lies on Innlandet Island, opposite the city centre. It provides free Wi-Fi and a terrace with sea views. The hotel feels brand new. Check in was easy, fast and efficient. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Access to free coffee and tea at any time. Parking is free and easy. Breakfast was probably the best that we have experienced so far in any of the Scandinavian hotels. Room size is good and the desk and power points work well for using a laptop computer. There are also USB charging point at the desk. WiFi is easy to set up and is fast and reliable. Nice views from the restaurant for breakfast and dinner. The bathroom works well and is a reasonable size. The beds are comfortable and heating is comfortable.
