Rob provided great local knowledge of the park and made a delicious breakfast for us every morning at a time that suited us. Unfortunately Dina was away so we didn't meet her but Rob was a great host and we would definitely stay there again

AA Homestay is offering accommodations in Mulu. At the homestay, every unit is fitted with a desk. Every room includes a private bathroom with a bath. The stay was awesone :) The owners are kind and helpful, we felt like a part of the family! they even hide our clothes from outside to inside when it started to rain / was windy and we werent "at home". They cook very well and can prepare packed lunch for your trips as well. Theres a common area with sofa where it's not that hot during the day. The room is big but sparcely furnished. Theres plenty of inside/outside hangers to dry your clothes after washing it a bucket. The shower was pleasant cold - just the right temperature not to be cold but to be freshened in the heat.

They kept power on the whole time so we could still charge things throughout the day and keep the fans on all night. At nights the rooms cooled down and were comfortable. The bathrooms were shared but we were the only people here so it felt private.
