The family booked elephant safari for me which was also incredible. It is in walking distance the Lion Rock, but you can also get tuk tuk at the bottom of the road.

The room and the bathroom are extraordinarily big and clean. The location is also very quiet yet near Sigiriya Rock and Pidurangala Rock. Best of all, Manju and his gamily made me very comfortable during my stay. Btw, I booked the property at around 9pm and I arrived at around 930pm, yet Manju and his family did everything they could to clean the room and change the sheets with new ones! They saved my Sigiriya trip!

It was by far the cleanest and more beautifully decorated room in our 10 day stay in the country.Very close to Sigiriya Rock and basically in the jungle,is located in a very beautiful environment. The sweet old lady with her daughter are very friendly and they made us feel like at home. Breakfast and dinner simple,but tasty.

I had the best stay in this hostel. 🫶Kostha is really fun, kind and helpful. 😉 Also his family is very nice. You can rent a bike, use nice kitchen, chill outside and much more. Green Bamboo House in Sigiriya provides accommodations with a garden and a shared lounge. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking, and free Wifi. The nicest family guest house! Breakfast was delicious. The lush gardens around the house are so beautiful. We had everything we needed, it was the best value for money and the family took a great care of us. Highly recommend to stay here if you are on a budget and want to stay with a local family :)

The family owners are so kind and helpful with our stay. The brothers are very accommodating when it comes to helping to plan your itinerary for Sigiriya and giving suggestions for what to do. They serve a big breakfast every morning, nice and peaceful pool. The brothers even helped us arrange transport back to the airport. The bed and air conditioning in the room was comfortable.

Clean comfortable room in a tranquil area. Bus from Dambulla drops you off on the main road about a 5 minute walk. The family is very sweet and makes you feel at home from the beginning. We had an amazing stay spending time with them and their animals, and learning about their culture every day. Just be aware that the wifi in Sigiriya is not the best, just like in any rural area in Sri Lanka. All in all, one of the best stays we have had in the country. The breakfast is amazing too!
