Just a 5-minute walk from Wat Luang and half a mile from Pakse Bus station, DD Guest House features accommodations in Pakse, with a bar. Excellent value for money. It's an older guesthouse with basic facilities but with a fresh lick of paint. Exceptionally clean. Firm mattress but not super -hard so comfortable. Nice area out front for good breakfast or to sit and relax and talk to fellow travellers. Very nice and helpful French and Laotian couple.

Located a 2-minute walk from Wat Luang, SUBINH HOTEL AND RESTAURANT offers 3-star accommodations in Pakse and has a terrace, a restaurant and a bar. It had a bath! A good shower and clean bathroom. The aircon was new and worked well, comfy bed, clean room, kettle and fridge. the view was nice from the balcony. was generally pleasant and neat with nice décor.

Located in Pakse and within a 3-minute walk of Wat Luang, Chato Hostel has a shared lounge, non-smoking rooms, and free WiFi. Chato is by far a more relaxed place. Quiet but in the middle of restaurants and cafes. Situated in front of the night market, ATMs , Korean food, even a Thai coffee shop . Chato is your best option . Skip the trendy , pricy places, as they are not always the best. Sleep well at Chato .

Sanga Hostel is set in Pakse, less than 5 minutes' walk from Wat Luang and just 10 minutes' walk from the Kong River. Staff was very helpful with everything, hostel was clean and price wasn't high for all you get. If you wait a night bus they even let you use their shower later the day even though you checked out in morning. Free ice cream daily was also nice extra.

Best buffet breakfast of any hotel in Laos (and I have stayed in dozens). Economic room, very clean and comfortable, plenty of electric outlets and good desk for work. Lighting good including bedside light. Good water pressure in shower and hot water.

Just a 7-minute walk from Wat Luang and 0.7 miles from Pakse Bus station, Bolaven trail guesthouse features accommodations in Pakse, with a shared lounge. We ended up getting the dorm room, which just had a bunk bed which was perfect! The bed was super comfy, and the shared washroom was very clean. It was a very quiet and comfortable stay, would reccomend it!

Athena Hotel provides comfortable rooms and an outdoor pool, a 10-minute walk from the center of Pakse. It also has free Wi-Fi, which is available throughout the hotel. The room was spacious and the bed very comfortable. The staff very friendly. I really enjoyed being able to come back each day and have a swim. I ate in the hotel most nights the meals on offer were fine as was the breakfast. It was easy enough to organise airport pick up and tours through the hotel.
