I was a stunning hotel, staff wanted to help in any way, they did a personalised schedule for me during my stay. Also went out of their way to cater for my vegan diet. Even on their bbq buffet the chef had prepared me a full vegan feast. I had been out there for 5 weeks volunteer working in another island, so this was my treat on my way back home. I was made to feel so special, it was the finishing touch to a special time.

Beautiful property with a very relaxing feel, however the service was 5 star. After 7 nights it felt like home and I did not want to leave.

Beautiful property, wonderful rooms with spectacular views, huge grounds with spectacular walks and giant turtles for ... Galapagos! The grounds are being returned to native bush and the giant tortoises - more than 70 of them actually on the property - seem to love it. A particularly warm welcome from Cattya and we were soooo well looked after by Cattya and her staff. I'd recommend dining in.

Located in Puerto Ayora, Alojamiento Sumak Kawsay features free WiFi and units equipped with a kitchen, patio and seating area. The best thing to stay with Luis in the "Good living" (that's what Sumak Kawsay means translated from Quechua) ist to stay with Luis and his family. We had such a warm welcoming and felt far away from all the tourism on the islands. If you are looking for a place to stay which is very special, go there. You will have to take the bus or taxi to get to Puerto Ayora where all the other tourists are and where you can eat/ take the ferries/ go to the beaches - but the location is not at all negative, for us it was one of the best things about the hotel! You are so close to life on Galapagos and far from just being another tourist. Luis cooked for us and hell it was so amazing. The best food we got on our whole trip and the peanut-banana-fish-soup was definetly one of the best soups of our life. Enjoy staying with them, we will always remember our 4 nights!

Hostal Casa Cascada is located in Puerto Ayora. Free WiFi access, room service and a 24-hour front desk are available. Each room here will provide you with a TV, air conditioning and a balcony. The room and its bathroom were clean and pretty big. We slept very well since the bed was comfortable and the AC cooled the room to pleasant temperature. Moreover, this hostel had the fastest Wifi of all the places we stayed at in the Galapagos Islands. Lastly, the owner is super nice and he gave us lots of good recommendations.

It was one of the cleanest places weve stayed and it has everything you need. Larry was literally the most helpful host we have ever had in our travels. We couldn’t be more grateful for all his tips and support. And if you need tours he can help as well. We most definitely would stay here again.
