Staff very friendly and helpful! All tours easily booked with them from local associates. They borrowed us binoculars and flashlights for the tours. Great location near the national park entry not directly on the main road.

The lodge is located between the river and the ocean, so you get the best of both worlds. The hosts were so accommodating and made all of the reservations for our tours as well as picking us up in La Pavona and shuttling us in the boat back and forth to town. The morning canoe tour with Manuel was our favorite tour so far.

Boasting a garden, restaurant and views of river, Cabañas Daneysha is situated in Tortuguero, a few steps from Tortuguero Beach. My bf and I loved the hosts, humble and attentive. The hostess is very communicative, Gloria makes your stay pleasant due to the tours and advices she offers, the tours were guided by her husband, Sergio who speaks English as well, has lots of knowledge and the fact that you were in a private tour and transported from the Cabins to the tour and viceversa. It’s very secure and lovely

Offering a garden, swimming pool and spa, Aninga Lodge is located 3.2 km from Tortuguero National Park. Lovely, very helpful staff. Full coach transport from San Jose and back, but hired a car and drove to the half way restaurant. Arranged by messaging ahead. Left the car there for free and picked it up on the way back k trough. 3 different tours included in the price. All meals included. Truly a wonderful experience.

With garden views, Laguna Lodge is set in Tortuguero and has a restaurant, a tour desk, bar, garden, year-round outdoor pool and terrace. All the meals were served buffet style, but all the food was very good (and, obviously, with as much as you wanted).

Set in Tortuguero in the Limon region, Tortuguero Hill Rooms features a garden. The property has inner courtyard views. The staff was very nice, Dona Lidiette was very nice and attentive. The staff was very helpful as well. We loved it. There was a very nice young man called Jorge, very helpful. He provided excellent information. Amazing customer service.
