Golden Sands Oceanfront Hotel offers resort-style amenities, like an outdoor saltwater pool, in the ideal Carolina Beach location. Location was awesome. Beach was close. Nice deck that faced the beach. Very nice boardwalks. Nice shops nearby. Access to the beach was great! Breakfast was close. Good eating all around the area. Rooms clean and nice size and housekeeping was amazingly nice.

The customer service was amazing, from the front desk, to the bar staff and the housekeeping staff! I also love the fact that we were offered to stay a little longer to enjoy the amenities. We were actually able to enjoy the pool and bar.

This Holiday Inn has views of the ocean and is less than 20 minutes from downtown Wilmington. It has 3 pools, 2 hot tubs, and 2 on-site restaurants and a bar. First class service from all the staff from reception, concierge and catering. Phyllis and Aura were very helpful following our initial 2 night stay. They allowed us to upgrade with an ocean front view for a further 2 nights when we elected to extend our stay. Nothing was too much trouble.

Courtyard Carolina Beach is located on the shores of Carolina Beach and provides guests with panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean. Guest can take a refreshing plunge in the indoor or outdoor pools. We have had some horrible customer service experiences at other hotels (different brand) in the past 2 years. This property at Carolina Beach went above and beyond to provide us not only with comfort and cleanliness, but professional curtesy that extended from General Manager, front desk, and housekeeping. The view was outstanding across the ocean. We have always searched out a Marriott property when we travel. Unfortunately, they are not always available.
