Perched 2000 metres above sea level, Alila Jabal Akhdar is an ultra-luxurious resort with views of the Al Hajar Mountains. It was a truly amazing experience. At check-in we upgraded the room to mountain view with two terraces with comfy lounge and deck chairs. The resort is wonderfully built with stones and wood and integrated into the extraordinary landscape with huge canyons and cliff, placed right at the cliff in a height of close to 2000m. They offer a range of activities, archery, mixing drinks, yoga and meditation as well as a vis ferrata. The food choice at breakfast and in the evening is excellent with very nice service and great views and atmosphere. A once in a lifetime experience, a really hard time for us to say goodbye. 😀

Marina H is set on the beachfront in Sohar. With free WiFi, this 2-star hotel offers room service and a 24-hour front desk. The hotel features family rooms. It is a basic hotel, exactly as expected. basic but good! Nice staff, a good café (I did no expect a milkshake from fresh strawberries) and location is at the beach (no tourist beach). I was a bit early and therefor the room I booked was not yet ready so they gave me an available bigger room. Very good service.

أمجاد للشقق الفندقية is situated in Al Ḩuwayl and has a heated pool and city views. There is a private entrance at the aparthotel for the convenience of those who stay. no breakfast. Location is in the heart of city, very good

مارينا للغرف الفندقية is situated in Sohar and features a shared lounge. The hotel also features free WiFi and free private parking. A beautiful place next to the Sea of Oman. The property was very clean and modern. The staff was helpful and very kind and accommodating. The Marina Hotel sits next to the ocean front giving you a beautiful view of the sunrise. I enjoyed my visit.
