Loved waking up to all of the birds chirping and great views of the stars at night. Easy drives to Lake Eacham and Barrine in Crater Lakes National Park, Barron Falls, Yungaburra, Curtain Fig Tree National Park and much more.

Offering a lagoon-style heated swimming pool, an onsite cafe/restaurant, and a tennis/basketball court, Golden Sands Beachfront Resort is just a 1-minute walk from lovely Yorkeys Knob Beach. The apartment was spacious, clean, very well equipped, had a balcony with a nice view on the pool and greenery and free parking in the basement that was easily accessible with a lift. We were leaving the apartment very early every morning, so unfortunately did not have the opportunity to have the breakfast which started at 8 a.m. but the restaurant looked really nice and wish we had a chance to try it. The location was great for exploting the area, short drive from Cairns airport or port and Palm cove and not so far from Port Douiglas or Daintree rainforest.

Well laid out and spacious. Set up was great with enough areas to carry out work or rest when the time required it. lounge chair was comfy and inviting.

Featuring an outdoor heated pool and BBQ area with outdoor seating and tropical gardens, this hidden gem of a motel is just a 12-minute walk from Four Mile Beach. This is a fabulous and fantastic place to stay. The staff are extremely helpful and kind. My warmest recommendation!
