Very friendly owner family. Near the village center, in the evening you can easily walk to the center to eat something, less than 20 Minutes by foot. Nice breakfast, small hotel with friendly staff 👌

Personnel is always polite and eager to help, even if you try to play a difficult customer. We accepted their offer to be picked up from the airport for 80 euros, and paid another 80 to be taken back at the end of our trip. However, we learnt later that a taxi back to the airport will cost us only 25 dollars, and cancelled the back part of the transfer. I expected that they would refuse to return the money, or would say something like "we will deduct 50 per cent for the late cancellation", but they refunded our 80 euros with no problem. That was a pleasant surprise. If you order tours (Red and Green tours) through them, they will be 20-25 per cent more expensive than what you can find online. However, balloon rides. you can order through them, they offer a market price. We did so. The fortress and the Love Valley with all those fairy chimneys are at walkable distance. You can skip the Green tour, as you can basically walk from the hotel to nearly all the places they take you on that tour.

Everything. Kamil is a great host. He communicates really good and make sure we have enough information before we travel and provide any help if we require. He speaks really good English so its easy to communicate. The hotel is in great location in Uchiser. The hotel atmosphere is really good and have friendly cats, whose company we really enjoyed. I will highly recommend Philosophy Hotel who are looking to stay in a quiet and calm neighborhood. Easily accessible to all attractions in Cappadocia. I can not speak highly enough about this hotel. It is a fantastic location, near Uchisar castle, very near to where the hot air balloons take off in the morning. There are fantastic views of the balloons from the roof terrace. The best thing is the lovely family that own and run the hotel. The sweetest, nicest people I have met in a long time. They went above a beyond to look after me. They arranged a transfer to the airport, rang up when my tour was late and showed me where to buy the best kilim rugs in the area (Maison de Kilim- another lovely and knowledgeable gentleman).
