I do not know a hotel which was more friendly and welcoming to the guests than the Camelia - and i visited well over 300. Top breakfast, spotlessly clean rooms, very close to the main attractions of Sintra, 2 minutes from the train station. We are really impressed and can’t understand those clients, who are not giving the maximum points for this property.

The grounds are gorgeous and spotless, the pool and gardens well kept. The room was clean and luxurious. Breakfast was delicious, dinner was great, the selection of wines is local and good. The pastries and port in the room were complimentary and delicious. This is a unique hotel. I have stayed at the sister Tivoli hotel in Lisbon and Palacio de Seteais exceeded all my expectations. I was there end of September and the hotel was not crowded, which was perfect.
