A charming hotel that is working hard to get things right. Beautifully decorated and warm and friendly staff it is a lovely place to stay on Belle-Ile - walking distance to the main town (about 1 Km) and it had off street parking which is often difficult in Frech villages.
It has a great breakfast (pay extra) and a lovely garden and terrace for good weather. Staff are very accommodating with bringing drinks and canapes etc to any part of the hotel. You can order a light supper in place of dinner if you don't want to go into town. Rooms are larger than most French hotels.
Hôtel Vauban is set in Le Palais, 46 km from Vannes and 16 km from Quiberon. All rooms come with a flat-screen TV. Some units feature views of the sea or garden.

The location was superb for us & the view just what we hoped. The steep climb up the roads would not be ideal for everyone & we were glad to hire electric bikes for our stay...it helped getting back to the hotel after an evening in town. The staff were super helpful & positive. The breakfast was very good and the hotel is very clean & comfortable. Thank you.
