Had a overnight stay on our way to Palm cove, a little tired but was pleasantly surprised to find a well run clean Hotel in a relatively sized country town. From reception to the bar area, we decided to eat there excellent quality food complimentary glass of wine/beer. Big shout out to Gavin our waiter/ barman couldn’t do enough for 2 weary travelers. The Summit B&B is located in a very quiet part of Atherton within a beautifully maintained rainforest garden that is home to many birds and other native wildlife. It was pleasant having a coffee in the morning and observing them. There's a well equipped kitchen and a BBQ. We had our grandchildren over for dinner and a swim. It was a great place for them to visit us while we were in town. The living room has very comfortable arm chairs for relaxing and watching a movie.
