We had a wonderful stay at Halcyon House. It is such a beautiful building with the views over the pool and out to the sea and the stylish interiors are stunning. The breakfast each morning was exceptional and our dinner in the Paper Daisy Restaurant within the hotel was fantastic. We found the staff in reception and the restaurant excellent, very friendly and attentive at all times. One morning we rode bikes (free hire at the hotel) along an amazing beach side path which was great fun . The beach just outside the front gate is truly beautiful. We can’t wait to go back!!!

From my room, a wonderful view of Mt Warning. Originally a 60's or 70's motel, there have been recent renovations. The main part of the room was large with an entrance from the rear and a door onto a shared verandah at the front.

When we arrived the staff were friendly and when we had a small problem, they helped us straight away even though the office had closed for the afternoon. The beds were very comfortable and the unit was good apart from the fact that we had to upgrade due to no inside toilet (not stated on booking form)
