The excellent restoration of this magnificent Victorian building shows how clever and considerate are the owners. They have incorporated luxury comfort without losing the features of the building, and the modern extension to the property blends seamlessly. Throughout the place are cosy reading nooks and a marvellous and eclectic selection of fabulous books, art and memorabilia, placed always to enhance the sense of design. The owners are warm and friendly and add to the overall sense of welcome and serenity. The weekend continental breakfast was excellent. Overall we felt a sense of calm in this lovely place.

Everything was nice and clean and seemed newly done up. Checkin was via keybox and information was sent via SMS. Price was more than reasonable.

This place was just amazing. All of the staff were all so super helpful and friendly. The food was devine. It was in a really central location that enabled us to walk to a lot of places. It had onsite secure parking and just the whole atmosphere was very welcoming and old worldly.
