The staff are absolutely amazing. It is like staying with good friends. They are obviously very happy working there and take pride in this beautiful hotel. They always take time for a chat. The hotel itself is very lovely. An amazing infinity pool with jacuzzi, everything spotlessly clean. There is also an open fire to sit comfortably around when the evenings get a bit chilly. The food was excellent. Nothing more you could need for the breakfast with friendly Sarah making sure you had everything you needed and even supplying extra cushions for me. Lunch also great and the evening meals were very very good, especially the barbecues of different cuts of meat and lovely fresh fish. Cannot fault it!
Located by the lighthouse that gives it its name, the hotel overlooks the sea and is just a few strides from the southern end of Maspalomas beach.

The Unique side was very good, warmed pool. Location very good.
BUT we visited the hotel spa which was wonderful and really very nice ...unitil when we started to leave all my husbands belongings were taken from the locker- it just was empty, although we were almost the last very few guests there. The staff was not helpful at all and all of it was really very very strange. So it ruined our experience.

Absolutely beautiful dunes, water, mountain, views everywhere. Food at local restaurants great and reasonable prices. Getting around by bus to other towns is easy. The clientele was not exacatly what we expected, that is all I shall say.

Nice touristic town, with many options regarding hospitality, restaurants etc. the dunes was the highlight of the area, followed by the beach. The area is clean, full of palm trees, spacious roads, ideal for walks and runs. The sea is often windy/wavy and bit chilly so it might not be ideal for young kinds.

Very warm with fantastic sea/ocean for swimming.
Very warm with fantastic sea/ocean for swimming. Varied landscape of the shores while if you turn around you can be amazed by the great mountains. There is a special natural reserve at the south of Maspalomas, the Dunes, where you can feel if you would be in the driest desert really. At the Dunes although naked people appeared all the time coming out of the bushes, which makes that area not really safe for kids.

The Hotel was immaculate and the staff friendly.
The Hotel was immaculate and the staff friendly. The Unique Club experience was worth it. The breakfast was excellent. The half-board evening buffet was superb and not crowded in February. The evening entertainment was generally of a high standard.
The only negative aspects are included to provide a fair feedback.
The communication with the resort via Booking.com was difficult and uncertain so I had to telephone hotel twice to confirm requests had been arranged (eg taxi transfer). This may have been Booking.com process at fault rather than hotel.
The À la carte experience in La Toscana was rushed and overly efficient as pre dinner cocktails arrived with mains. Not worth the expense over the included half-board buffet.
There was no obvious information about any of the facilities or excursions made available to me throughout my stay. There was no mention of the restaurant options and cuisine available for each - I had to go to each to investigate. The casino was never mentioned and not sign-posted.
I realised there was an App I could have downloaded as I was leaving.
But I would definitely go back to the hotel as It was greta in every other way.

Location is key when deciding on a hotel or apartment so you can easily access shops and services especially if you don't have an all inclusive holiday. Also, if you don't have a free shuttle service, you can take the bus but the timetable seems erratic. A taxi 1 way about 45-50 euros.
You can feel this old "luxury" from the hotel. It is well maintained and very green location. With 3 swimming pools, some of them are heated, you can fully enjoy the Gran Canaria weather. . Our 2 bed apt for 940 euros for 6 nights for 6 people was city facing with massive terrace and a sea veiw and beautiful panorame.
Very nice place, highly experinced staff and I would definitely recommend it to my friends - if they will find available dates - place is fully booked well in advance. And there is the reason for this. 😊
Beautiful green hotel, lots of palm trees and vast gardens. Rooms are ok, a little small but bathrooms are a good size. We absolutely loved the food. That was beyond our expectations for buffet type meals. So a 10/10 on food. The other two restaurants are ok, but in our opinion not worth it. Kids club was good enough for kids 4 years and older. You are also right on the beach, which is a bonus. Our 7 year old son loved body boarding. All in all, would recommend!
This hotel might be just an average 3 star but I'm impressed about the quality of the daily room cleaning, all the shower gels, towels etc replaced it's better than what I seen in many 4-5 star hotels. The breakfast is quite ok, staff is helpful and friendly. Bus service provided to and from the 2 major beaches in the area ... for those it may concern. I will not look any further for accommodation than this when I visiting Maspalomas next time than this.
The Unique side was very good, warmed pool. Location very good.

Nice apartment, very central location
Has all the basics: TV, WIFI, A/C -very important-
Kitchen with space to cook if you want: Pots, Coffee maker, fridge, plates & cups....
Washer, cleaning stuff, etc.
Bus stop to the Gran Canarias Airport, right across the street
The apartment is good for 1-2 people at the most
Several restaurants and a supermarket on main street -Tirajana-
The hotel was amazing. Everything exceeded out expectations!! The location, the room, the pool area with super comfortable sun beds were all great. Also breakfast and dinner was amazing, with many many options: vegan, vegetarian, healthy, seafood and great classics. The staff was very nice and friendly and ready to answer all our questions. We will definitely be back. Thank you!
The walk to the beach across the dunes. Amazing. Hotel is not directly on the beach, takes 12 minutes to walk there, but it is a great walk and the beach is huge and empty.
Excellent hotel staff, amazing lobby smell, very good food and pool snacks.
Left our kids at home and must say we loved the adults only hotel setup. Actually we feel like never going elsewhere :)
Beautiful rooms with lovely decor and in a prime location right on the beach and near the Maspalomas dunes. Very clean throughout. Very friendly and welcoming staff who, in my case, were flexible with my check in and check out times. Tasty breakfast (try the salmon benedict). Also liked the way my property/room key was an unobtrusive fob I could wear on my wrist.
Location is perfect, you have bus station in front of the building ( from/to AIRPORT, Puerto Rico ), 15 min walk to DUNES, 15 min walk to PLAYA DEL INGLES, very good restaurants around, I recommend : 450Gradi Italian Restaurants Maspalomas
Excellent host, easy to comunicate with
Perfect apartment for a family.
The hotel surroundings ( the pool area, the bar, the garden) is a beautiful, well-kept oasis they will instantly relax your mind and eyes.
The personell was kind, helpful, everyone speaks English.
Room was comfy, clean, lots of space for us
There is a great shopping area nearby ( El Tablero).
A nice hotel, well situated with great views of the beach from the roof terrace. Nice pools and a decent size room. The all inclusive buffet was great and the variety of menu choices was good too. The Spa was lovely and most of the staff were friendly and helpful.
Beautiful little houses with a modern interior, huge pool, in a quiet, not too crowded area near the best beaches of Gran Canaria! Great restaurant and evening programs, free parking, overall great value for money, will be sure to return!
Pool, seating area, kitchen, etc
