The staff were exceptional. They made our stay very convenient. They were very friendly & very helpful. They made sure we miss nothing we needed, in this remote small town in the off season.
We are very thankful to the staff-team at The View !

Everything! I got a new year eve I will remember.

On the special event of new year eve he even gave me a drink 🍾 to celebrate aside of some nice fresh crab !
This made my day.

Can't really find any negatives for this place. The locals are very friendly, the streets are clean, the scenery is stunning and best of all its only about 35 minutes drive to Norkapp. If you are visiting we would 100% recommend booking a trip to Norkapp. Its a fascinating place...the top of Europe!!. We flew in, stayed 3 nights then departed on a fjord cruise. Well worth every penny. We decided to take a walk one morning, its obviously very hilly but not too taxing. Its about 5 miles to completely encircle the town though that did include a few detours for the sake of photos. There is a restaurant close to the Norkapp museum called The Corner. The food, welcome and service were second to none. Totally recommend it to any visitors. Well that's my opinion of Honningsvag, visit yourself and see what you think.

Everyone seems to be profiting from the proximity to Nordkapp, which lowers the overall experience of an otherwise nice town at the edge of Europe. Many cruise ships that dock in the port release heaps of tourists into the town every day, which makes it feel more like a centre of some large city, not a town of 2500 inhabitants.

The road to Honningsvåg is very picturesque in the winter days, especially if there is some light giving everything a bit more mystical glow.
Honningsvåg itself is very small, best to be avoided in the summer when hordes of tourist want to see the sun not set. I would think winter is so much more adventurous and therefore more awarding.
Nice hotel on the way to Norkapp.
The facility is very nice, clean and easy to find, big free parking in front of it. Friendly staff at the reception.
Good buffet breakfast.
We stayed just one night on the way back to Alta.
We had two different room types, the superior with view is very attractive, while the boys stayed int the standard room, always clean and nice, but this latter has reduced size windows, just to keep in mind while booking.
A comfortable, good-quality stay in the center of the small Norwegian fisher town of Honningsvåg in Nordkapp. Surrounded by breathtakingly beautiful sceneries of the island and easy access to the North Cape by car or even public transport. The room and the service were good as you would expect from a Scandic location. Also the breakfast was excellent as per usual Scandic standards.
The beds were comfortable, breakfast was great, the staff very nice (when we arrived we were advised to go to Nordkapp at this moment since there were a storm the next day, and they checked with us when it will be safe to get out of the island ; we also had some chocolates since we leave Christmas' Eve day), it was possible to charge our EV car in front of the hotel
The hotel felt like a cosy home. The common area had new furniture and felt so cosy. The views were amazing and you can sit back with coffee and admire the views.
Staff went above and beyond to make sure I had a good stay. They helped me with everything and I had such a great stay.
The breakfast was absolutely amazing too.
Breakfast was very fine. The location of the hotel as such is good, but connection from backyard parking area to the entrance is unconvenient, you need to walk up the outdoor stairs to the main street in order to enter the reception. Hotel room was small and modest but clean. The personnel was very helpful and kind.
The view from the window.
New facilities.
Comfy beds (though a double bed is just two twin beds next to each other).
Big shower.
Free electric charging and parking.
Away from the centre of Honningsvåg (the port usually hosts multiple cruise ships which make the town crowded).
The hotel was great, the staff was very helpful (she helped us buy tickets for the ferry and she prepared us a breakfast we could take with us, as we left the hotel at 5 in the morning).
the room was very clean and the beds were comfortable
Staff was extraordinary
We’ve been offered parking spaces in the garage for our motorcycles. That is hospitality!
The hotel deserves it’s name, the view is magnificient.
Food was awesome
