Quirky character, clean but maintains old character, bed very comfortable, food divine and good value, and very quick from order too table , loved the retro radio and sugar cubes in a bag in room
Only stayed one night enroute to Devon. An ideal stop over; warm welcome, lovely room, comfortable lounge and bar for pre dinner drink. Food was excellent, could be eaten in the bar or in the restaurant. Reasonably priced wine.
Breakfast choices, no buffet. Would definitely stay again.

Excellent hotel, the host was very friendly and helpful , room was delightful ,choice of breakfast, served in our room due to Covid 19 restriction, was very nice. Will stay again next time we are in this area.
We chose it for the location; about 15 minutes drive from the arboretum at Westonbirt. The hotel is in a charming village location and our room overlooked the lovely gardens at the rear. The room was spacious and spotless and the bed comfortable. Great breakfast and charming family hosts. Free WiFi, although I did have to find the proprietor to ask for the code. Great stay , will definitely be returning.
It is a gem of a guest house in Woburn. We are so happy that the hotel was fully booked when we needed somewhere to stay as we now have this as our stay option when we stay in Woburn. The rooms were immaculate, very roomy and comfortable. A lot of thought has gone into the whole experience for the guest. As we were with friends we particularly liked the breakfast seating - all around one table.
This was a most charming place to stay - A quaint old fashioned hotel from a more gracious and unrushed era. Oh that our lives could enjoy more of this type of lifestyle. The meals, supper and breafast were beautifully presented.
Olde worlde hotel with plenty of character.
We couldn’t find anywhere for food in the area, we spoke to the hotel who were very accommodating at late notice and fed Eight of us, Very grateful.
Thanks again
