Missing hot water and lack of support from the site.
Missing hot water and lack of support from the site. Recieved our money with one week delay. At the begining the host did not wanted to bring back the money but thanks to the booking.com team we resolved the problem. Would like to forget bad memories. Never go to this place!

The cathedral is fascinating.
The cathedral is fascinating. We visited three times, on each occasion finding something new. I doubt there are many churches in the world that contain a chicken house - the two living birds are there to recall a local miracle in which a hanged youth and two roast chickens were brought back to life.

Conservative boring town. Very religious.
Conservative boring town. Very religious. There was a lovely bar around the corner from the hotel that a lot of locals frequented, which was lovely and had a good atmosphere, one of the few places we felt comfortable. Felt Franco's presence was alive and well in this town.

You have to definitely see the chicken in the cathedral!
You have to definitely see the chicken in the cathedral! It is really impressive, with all the chapels, and its worth seeing.
Friendly locals, beautiful architecture.
Vegans can survive there. They have supermarket called "Eroski", which takes some searching, but you can still find the couscous, fruits and veggies.

They had a festival or celebration at night on the day we staying, so their speakers make very loud noise until midnight around 3:00 a.m. we couldn't get sleep the whole night. It's terrible.

The staff was great, due to an injury we arrived very early, the receptionist took us straight to the room and then told us where the best places in town to eat.
We started a load of laundry and he was kind enough to transfer it to the dryer while we were at lunch.
Breakfast is well worth 6€, we went to a cafe which served leftovers for more. We came back to hotel and had a fresh Real Breakfast.
The couple who own the hotel are so welcoming and kind. They are just gorgeous. We felt so welcomed in to the place. They took the time to orientate us in the town. We really liked the cafe/bar below for dinner and the staff there were so nice to us. We don't speak a lot of Spanish but they were so patient and kind to us and we managed to get across our ordee
Lovely hotel in converted old pilgrims' hospital building. Beautiful interior. Large room, very clean. Helpful, friendly staff. Excellent location, in the heart of the old town. Private underground car park. We arrived late, and left next day, so can't comment on availability of restaurants.
Of all the Paradors we stayed in this holiday this one was mot a patch on the others, which was a real shame as its location and setting were wonderful. The reception staff were pleasant and helpful.
Our room was dark, drab, dreary and poky amd not all all fitting for a four star hotel.
The people who run this hotel are just delightful. They were full of encouragement for my small amount of Spanish. The room was very comfortable and we had a great dinner. We wish we had breakfast there too. A real gem along the Camino in a town full of character and history.
The virtual messaging with the host/manager was exceptional even though we never met. Location wasn’t bad but a short walk to cathedral and restaurants. It did have a small kitchenette, WiFi, and microwave. It was a room to spend one night and better than an albergue.
Great place to stay - This is more like a hotel, than a hostel. Great bathrooms in hotel room. Plenty of charging points. Staff friendly. My favourite was the dual balconies - Great for taking photos! Hotel lobby also has a toilet as well in case you need to use it.
very close to the cathedral. the young lady running the place was super helpful. she checked me in before regular time because my room was ready and later walked with me to find the only grocery store open on Sunday afternoon.
The hotel is a beautifully restored character building with many remaining interesting artifacts. The rooms are modern, clean and comfortable. We loved that they had the heat on! The location is quiet yet close to everything.
Absolutely beautiful building, right next to an old convent. The breakfast was the best we've had and the dinner at the sister hotel in down was 5 star (service, ambience and food).
The hotel is no better thsn a much cheaper hostel and it is not good value for money. I have stayed in better quality places for half the price. The breakfast was good.
Maite is an exceptional host. Excellent location near restaurants, cathedral and Camino path. Comfortable beds. Small but clean bathroom. Felt very secure.
A great small hotel right in the centre of the town. Excellent facilities for those walking the Camino. Very reasonably priced and great value for money!
